What the contact form collects

Your name, work email, company, role (optional) and message. We also see the country your request came from, which Cloudflare provides. We use this only to reply to you.

Where it goes

The message is emailed to us through Cloudflare Email Routing. It is not saved in a database or anywhere else on this site. It lives in our inbox until you ask us to delete it.

Hosting, spam protection and analytics

• Cloudflare hosts the site and provides cookieless visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It does not track you across other sites.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is used by a person, not a bot.
• To limit abuse, we keep a short-lived, one-way hashed count of form submissions per network address for up to one hour. We do not store the address itself.

Cookies and trackers

None. No advertising cookies, pixels or chat widgets.

Access and deletion

Email derek@holdpointhse.ca to see, correct or delete anything you sent us. We will respond within 30 days.

The law

We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and Canada's PIPEDA where it applies. Some of the services above process data outside Canada.
